On August 23, three Christians were attacked and killed in Chiapas, Mexico. The neighbor who commited the murders claimed that the Christians were practicing witchcraft which caused his daughter's stomach ailment.
Antonio Gomez and seven of his friends entered the house and attacked the Christians with machetes. The Christian father, Pedro, his wife, Mercela, and their oldest son, Rene, were brutally hacked to death. Six other of the Diaz children were seriously wounded.
The men are being held in jail. Pray that the children that were left behind, would heal physically and emotionally. Pray that the men would repent and get saved.
