That is so true! Christ has banished our fear, and secured victory at the cross... indeed, to live is Christ, to die is gain!
Have you read "The Martyr's Song", by Ted Dekker? It portrayed that fearlessness in a clear picture, saying the pity felt for a child who was martyred was entirely misplaced! They have unending and unquenchable joy!
Thanks for all the updates, keep them coming and I'll keep praying! Ceira
Thank you for this blog! Reading about the martyrs has brought me to pray that God draw me closer to them- and He has. The trials in my life have been comparably mild. However, the perspective in those testimonies is becoming clearer and clearer to me: Giving thanks for tribulations because tribulations draw me to God; seeing those difficulties as incredibly mild- I had one incident that really brought this truth out. I just wish I gave myself to God more.

Also, thank you for praying. It means so much to our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.
Soli Deo gloria!

One thing about that book... I believe it is a purely fictional story, however it had a gripping inner story that carried a message well.
